Our adorable little 'Hoos Table may be joining its big sibling (the Basic 'Hoos 50-board set) on The Grommet!   The 'Hoos Table seats up to 4 1-4 year-olds, and is every bit as sturdy as the 'Hoos 50, plus it integrates completely, and is made to last whether used indoors or outside. Transport it easily to the park or the beach: it breaks down into boards that can be tucked into a trunk or stored in a a closet and weighs just 45 lbs.

And, right next door to the Bilderhoos booth, look for Kieran's way-back retro photo-booth: He will be shooting tintype photographs with his vintage camera and processing them on location in his portable darkroom.  Dress up for the photo (textures photograph especially well), or wear whatever you've got on!  For $20 (cash only) you can be photographed like your ancestors were, back when folks didn't smile in photos.  But this time around you should smile, if you can hold still for two seconds ;)

The LOL Fest is a not-to-be-missed event in Olympia, plus its proximity in front of the San Francisco Street Bakery is just your luck.

Three days ago Norman and Henry from next door learned that I have a Bilderhoos and that it lives on my back porch. They've built with it at every opportunity, and according to their Mom, they talk of little else.  Today Henry chose to build a pickup truck, which became a semi-truck, and ended up being some kind of lighthouse tower, with an imaginary glow to guide the sea monsters of Lake Michigan past our rocky shores. Anyway, this video is of the guys on Day 1, when their pal David came over. It contains a surprise. Enjoy!
